The story of my life.
I was born and raised in the family of two architects in Kazan, Russia. My favorite subject at school was art. I attended art and music school in Kazan.
I grew up in a family where art was important part of life. My grandfather was trading bread for paints during World War II, because even back then being a little boy he couldn’t survive without art.
I spent numerous evenings watching my grandfather painting landscapes or portraits of people, I learned to be patient in order to bring each picture to perfection. Later in life when I was watching my dad developing film in a photo lab, I realized that I want to capture each beautiful moment of life. I got my first camera as a gift from my parents and since then I just couldn’t stop. I switched to shooting digital as soon as it became available as I believe that progress is everything. Although I still enjoy creating vintage look on my pictures using my favorite picture editing software…it reminds me of working in a photo lab.
Today I am a wife, mother and a professional freelance photographer who draws her inspiration from her family and friends. I shoot in my portrait studio or on location. I work with models, families, children, I love still-life, nature, landscapes, skyscrapers, anything and everything as long as it creates those beautiful memories for generations to come.
